Pioneering lighting solution for InoBat's future battery production
InoBat established a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for battery cells in Voderady, Slovakia, supported by extensive R&D capacities. The goal was to create optimal working conditions for the production and research of cutting-edge battery technology, including cleanroom and ATEX requirements. As a long-standing partner, Zumtobel Group was commissioned to deliver a bespoke lighting solution that fulfills both technological and functional requirements at the highest standard.
Tailor-made lighting technology for the battery factory of tomorrow
The project requirements were clear: durable lighting solutions, resistant to chemical influences, stable at varying temperatures, and suitable for cleanrooms. Zumtobel installed a high-quality combination of general lighting, safety luminaires, and cleanroom lighting systems. Emergency lighting and escape route signage with RESCLITE and CROSSIGN were also integrated – ensuring maximum safety while simultaneously providing energy efficiency and user comfort.
Innovative luminaires with high performance and functionality
The luminaires used included CLEAN II supreme for clean rooms, CRAFT II plus for storage and logistics areas, and TECTON MIREL for office spaces. These luminaires stand out due to their durability, light quality, and flexibility – such as through modular light strips for open space concepts or chemical-resistant materials for sensitive production areas. In the reception, toilets, and changing rooms, PANOS downlights create a harmonious lighting effect.
Future-proof technologies and sustainable lighting solutions.
A custom special solution was not necessary – the project utilized the Zumtobel Group’s extensive, modular portfolio. Sustainability also played a crucial role: durable products, energy-efficient LED technology, and well-thought-out lighting management ensure a minimal ecological footprint. As a result, the lighting solution not only supports InoBat's innovative strength but also a responsible future for mobility.
